The Bujinkan Shishi Dojo teaches classical Japanese kobudo (old style martial arts) in Dublin.

The specific name of the martial art taught is Bujinkan Dojo Budo Taijutsu, also sometimes called ‘ninjutsu’ and the focus of our training is the transmission of the martial arts taught by the Bujinkan Dojo in Japan. This includes the study of nine feudal-era samurai ryuha including Togakure Ryu, Takagi Yoshin Ryu, Kukishin Ryu, Gyokko Ryu, Koto Ryu and more.

The dojo was founded in late 2017 and will commence offering classes in the West Dublin area in early 2018.

The teacher is Stiofan Conlon, a licensed shidoshi, or instructor of the Bujinkan Dojo.

Stiofan started training in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu in 2006 under Alex Meehan in Dublin at the Bujinkan Namiryu Dojo and was awarded a teaching license in 2015 by Hatsumi Masaaki, Soke of the Bujinkan Dōjō and the rank of Judan in 2017. He continues his training under his teacher in Dublin and visits Tokyo for ongoing tuition with the senior teachers in the art located there.
